It took me ages to begin reading this. I've read all the shopaholic books and although I liked the first ones I began to get bored of all the shopping scenarios. However I did love Can You Keep A Secret? so I decided when I was sick in bed recently to bring this book to bed for company until I recovered. And boy was I hooked. The heroine in the book is a successful lawyer but working every hour in the day and getting more and more stressed. All working girls today will be able to relate to that! Then distaster strikes and she ends up on a train heading for the country where she gets a job as a housekeeeper for an eccentirc family. Her attempts to cook and clean are absolutely hilarious - at one stage she even hires a catering company and puts the bill on her credit card because she can't even make sandwiches. I just loved this book from beginnning to end.
