I will recommend this to lots of friends but not for the reasons I thought I would. I was expecting more of a traditional biography, more of an inside story on the unusual exploits of a Top Gear presenter, that would inevitably include stuff about The Crash. What I got was an insight into who Richard is from almost entirely from the perspective of the crash. CD one is about how he became a petrol head and adreniline junkie and leading up to the crash, CD 2 is Mindy's account of the immediate aftermath and the start of the road to recovery and CD 3 about how they coped from a couple of weeks on. It is a very compelling listen, and very moving. Both he and Mindy are remarkably strong and wonderful people and you get a much deeper insight into who he is than you would from a traditional biography. It makes you laugh and cry and I'm really looking forward to him continuing his story.
