This was only the second Katie Fforde book I had read (the first being Highland Fling). I had a day off and I spent 5-6 hours glued to this book (even carrying it to the kitchen to read while making lunch - have you ever tried to make a sandwich while reading?! I hadn't done that since university!). If you're after light-hearted, funny, romantic escapism this is the book for you! (and as for "Highland Fling"; I stayed up till 2.30am to finish it, despite knowing I would have to be up again at 6.30am!). Buy both and enjoy! I'm off to order a few more.....
