I have always liked AWT and thought I would give the bio genre a try using his book as a first. I was not disapointed. I don't know if he really wrote the book but frankly I don't care. It was a touching tale of a disturbing childhood through to a turbulent adulthood. AWT is very candid in his writing and doesn't seem to mind telling his most private secrets. Some people may be surprised that someone from such a disjointed upbringing has made such a sucess of their life. The style of writing as much as the story kept me interested the whole way through. I would recommend the book even if you don't like AWT's on screen persona, as the book really does catalogue the life of a very interesting human being.
