The final chapter in the first season of Runaways goes out with a bang. Quite literally. This final chapter manages to tie up the two major (if related) plots of *who is the mole?* and *how will our young heros deal with their parents?*. The answer to the first is surprising in the same way as all great reveals should be, in that you realise you should have known all along, and the second is some great fun superhero action.Vaughan proves beyond a doubt that his real strength is great characters, from the cute and naive Molly to smart and cool Alex, but doesnt shirk on scripting some great action scenes ably drawn by Alphona. In fact, Alphona's nearly manga style should be as much as a draw as the writing is as he imbues each character with their own distinct look and expresions.Don't let the size of this paperback put you off, the reproduction is good and as legible as it was in its *full size* comic book format.This is comic books new Famous Five... well... six, be thankfully that Marvel has given them a reprive and season two will be along shortly...
