I didnt enjoy this book at all. I have read most of Barbara Erskine's books which I found once started were unable to put down. However, this collection of 30 short stories didn't have that "magic" feel at all. I found it extremely difficult to stay with the book as it just didnt hold my concentration. If you have read any of Erskine's other books - such as Whispers in the Sand, House of Echoes, Midnight is a Lonely Place and are a fan of scary, magical,suspense novels then I dont think this is the right book for you.
