Much as I love powers - one of those rare comics where the art and writing mesh perfectly - this volume isn't up to the usual standards, coming across more as a scrapbook of backup stuff with a few short stories attached. Powers storylines usually span 5-6 issues, and the ones here don't, so I suppose they had no other choice but to pad the TPB out. Either way this volume leaves you feeling a bit short changed. Don't let this put you off Powers as a whole though - this volume is a rare dud in an otherwise excellent series.
