The second novel by Karen that features protagonist Will Trent. As you'd expect the book is skilfully written with Karen's trademark twists as well as gripping character attributes the really make this a difficult book to put down with you often thinking, just one more page. Yet whilst this is a second instalment its really a tale that can be picked up without having read the previous novel. Great prose, cracking pace and above all a story that will stay with you after you've finished the last page and will have you checking behind each door before going to bed.
