There's nothing wrong with being different. Lucas a nerdy 14-year-old has skipped two grades and is having a tough time fitting in with his older classmates. The jocks make fun of him and the girls barely know that he's alive. During the summer Lucas's life is brightened by his new neighbor who quickly becomes his good friend.
